Yogada – The Giver
The concept of Yoga signifies a combination of planets that bring about specific results, be they favorable or unfavorable. Yogada planets are those that have the potential to activate these favorable yogas, thereby playing a pivotal role in the fruition of success, prosperity, or other forms of well-being in a person’s life.
When a planet connects the lagna with either Hora Lagna or Ghatika Lagna through conjunction, aspect, or ownership, it becomes the “Yogada” – the one who provides significant yogas related to wealth and power.
For instance, consider an individual whose ascendant and Hora Lagna are both in Cancer. In this case, the planet Moon becomes the common factor between these two lagnas and hence, it becomes the “Yogada”.
In case this planet governs the Moon sign as well, it transforms into the “Kevala Yogada” with amplified capabilities.
Maha Yogada – The Great Giver
“Maha Yogada” takes the concept of Yogada a step further. A planet is classified as a Maha Yogada when it has influence over multiple key houses in a horoscope and is strongly positioned. This essentially means that the planet has a powerful and extensive impact on the life of the individual. The Maha Yogada is capable of giving extraordinary success and achievements, often beyond ordinary scope.
If a single planet is associated with all three lagnas – lagna, Hora Lagna, and Ghatika Lagna, it acquires enormous power and becomes a “Maha Yogada.”
Kevala Maha Yogada – The Ultimate Giver
The term “Kevala” means exclusive or sole. Kevala Maha Yogada is a rare and exceptional astrological occurrence. It is a singular planet that solely possesses the extraordinary power to bestow great fortune or success to an individual. This single planet’s influence is so dominant in the horoscope that it overshadows other planetary influences.
If your Maha Yogada planet also rules the Moon sign, it gains even more strength and becomes a “Kevala Maha Yogada.”
