The deity of Hasta Nakshatra is Savitar who is a form of Lord Surya and one of the Adityas, the twelve sons of Aditi. Aditi represents infinity, and her 12 sons the zodiac signs are different expressions of this eternal energy.

Through the Gayatri mantra we invoke Lord Savitar!  Hasta also means “hands” and that is why the combination of Gayatri mantra with Mudras (Hand gestures to manage prana or life force energy flow in our body) can help us invoke Lord Savitar and his magical powers!

Mantras are based on codified esoteric traditions and passed on from one preceptor to one disciple in the course of an initiation ritual. The Shadangas of a Mantra is very Important to understand and follow for a Mantra to give desired benefits.

Mantras vests magical powers since the right form of words, the right tone and right delivery by themselves would confer the desired effect. These sacred vibrations can support Spiritual Engineering of our Inner Being.

The Most Potent is the Quintessence Gayatri Maha Mantra a 24-syllable hymn from the Rig Veda which when cyclically enunciated with the correct 24 Mudras (Hand Postures) can create a hypnotizing effect on the chanter’s consciousness.
